The ITESLIVE passenger information system is your control hub for visual communications with passengers. It is designed to easily manage a digital display network and share information with passengers. Here are a few benefits of the ITESLIVE passenger information system.

Informs users in real time

Automatically share schedules of upcoming buses and trains, the status of the network, occupancy levels, and the best alternate routes. This information is shared in real time with passengers, which helps them plan their itinerary, makes waiting times seem shorter and reduces stress. This data can be shared through integrations with:

  • GTFS/RT and SIRI data sources
  • Customized data sources through API, JSON and XML
  • Computer-Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL) systems.

These integrations enable you to share different types of information in real time without requiring daily human intervention. In addition, this information can be shared through LED, LCD and E-Ink displays as well as with touchscreens and video walls.

Simple and centralized management

It’s easy to manage your digital signage network with the ITESLIVE passenger information display system. Shareable content can be planned and previewed in real time, and the system enables you to set up multi-level priorities for your messages (schedules, detours, cancellations, emergencies, etc.). Access and permission management can be adapted to your needs, and can be modified as needed.

Content for all your needs

Creating and editing personalized templates is simple with the comprehensive content editor included in the management platform. A customizable image and template bank is also available for free to ITESLIVE customers. Various content types can be added to engage users, such as your social media content (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), RSS feeds (news or traffic), time, weather, images, videos, etc. All these content types can easily be added in the playlists of the displays of your choice.

Priority level content

Many different content types can be linked together based on their priority level and their initial configuration. For example, on a same screen, the upcoming buses and trains could be displayed in the main zone while the secondary zones could show the weather and the news. If a notification needs to be shared (e.g., a route that needs to be changed), the alert message will appear in the defined content’s space – in this example, over the weather and the news. Notifications can also be set up to take up the entire screen instead of only one of its zones.

Complete monitoring

The platform offers tools that ensure you are reliably sharing available information with users. You can see your entire network at a glance using the display of your choice (either as a list or a map). The system also offers live screenshots and proofs of play.

The ITESLIVE passenger information system helps public transportation system operators improve their passengers’ experience by sharing information in real time.
