Montreal, September 11, 2024 — ITESMEDIA, the Quebec-based leader in passenger information systems, keeps expanding its activities in Europe through numerous strategic initiatives. Building on its extensive expertise, the company continues to develop its presence in Europe with important projects and strategic collaborations. The latest expansion effort followed a three-pronged approach: a participation to an international sport project in France, a new partnership with Teleste, and a presence at InnoTrans, the world’s largest international trade fair for transport technologies.

Sports project in France: A technological solution for a world-class event

The summer of 2024 was a turning point for ITESMEDIA, as it was selected as the provider of passenger information solutions for a sporting event in France. This world-class event brought together the greatest athletes, officials, and media outlets, which required seamless and efficient transportation. With its ITEStransit passenger information system, ITESMEDIA was able to meet expectations in effectiveness and reliability and provide an optimal experience to participants.

The main objective of this collaboration was to ensure a seamless transportation experience and minimize stress for athletes and their teams by providing real-time information (such as schedules, service interruptions, estimated times of departures and arrivals, etc.), among others. Information totems were installed at strategic locations, such as bus stops, which made it possible to share essential information.

Partnership with Teleste

As part of its European expansion, ITESMEDIA recently entered into a strategic partnership with Teleste, an innovative company in the public transit information technology sector. This partnership has led to the launch of the Teleste Hub solution, operating on the ITEStransit software platform. Teleste Hub helps transport operators improve the passengers’ experience, optimize their operations, and access new sources of income at the global level.

“We are proud to see our Quebec-based solutions being deployed all over the world. This European expansion, which is supported by strategic partnerships such as our work with Teleste, reflects our commitment to constantly innovate to improve the passenger experience and to support transport operators throughout their digital transformation.
- Richard Fortin, President ITESMEDIA

Teleste Hub positions itself as a key solution for public transit managers seeking to efficiently centralize and manage content shared on information displays and panels while ensuring seamless, real-time communications with their users.

ITESMEDIA at InnoTrans 2024

To strengthen its presence on the European markets even further, ITESMEDIA will also attend InnoTrans 2024, one of the most important trade fairs in the transportation technology sectors. This trade fair is taking place in Berlin and will bring together major players of the industry from around the world, where they will discover the latest innovations and trends that will shape the future of transportation. ITESMEDIA will attend jointly with Teleste and will highlight its latest technological solutions, once more demonstrating its commitment towards innovation and meeting the needs of transport operators and travellers alike.

By participating in international events and collaborating with strategic partners like Teleste, ITESMEDIA keeps expanding in Europe and strengthens its position on the global stage of transportation information technologies.

ITESMEDIA looks forward to upcoming opportunities and stays focused on bringing more innovations and offering software solutions to transform the passenger experience around the world.
